The Houston Texans stand second in the new edition of the ESPN NFL Power Rankings, trailing only unanimous No. 1 San Francisco.
The 49ers won in Green Bay and over Detroit. Those are far better wins than the Texans' victories over Miami and at Jacksonville.
Houston moved up two spots, and the Colts gained five off their win. Winless Tennessee dropped four places, and winless Jacksonville dropped two.

The loser of Jaguars-Colts Sunday will pretty much be assured of one of the last spots next week. If the Titans lose to Detroit, Tennessee will be right there with their AFC South brethren.
